AISBEWS is the brainchild of a group of bank employees hailing from different parts of the country, and are employed in Bank-Branches across India. We at AISBEWS realized how vulnerable certain people are to sudden socio-economic changes, and decided to take decisive steps to ensure their protection, well-being, happiness, and smiles.

Our society is built upon a collective drive to encourage and improve economic welfare of the deprived so as to enhance their overall well-being. We believe that this will help our Santal society in bringing forth a progressive community, and help deprived people at large without any discrimination. Our mode of conduct is by directly interacting and having cordial relations with the members of the target group who need aid, assistance, encouragement, motivation, updated knowledge on the various types of economic activities, and accordingly create a conducive atmosphere for the needful.

Most of our activities shall revolve around education, employment generation, and improving one’s employability to contribute to the long-term benefits of our community and thereby to the nation. We aim at giving our people the confidence to dare to achieve what they desire.

The Head Office of AISBEWS is located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha and we operate in a three-tiered structure of central, state, and regional levels to give an opportunity to all our members to pay back to the society. This democratic structure makes the implementation of the plans at the grass root level efficient and precise.

For the purpose of attaining large participation and creating plenty of opportunities, AISBEWS has
A) CENTRAL COMMITTEE at the apex.
B) FIVE State Committees in the states of Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh. Apart from members from the respective states, West Bengal State Committee also has members from North-Eastern states; Bihar State Committee also has members from North Indian and Western states ; and the Chhattisgarh State Committee also has members from South Indian states.
C) FOUR Regional Committees each have been formed under the State Committees of Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal; and ONE Regional Committee each under the State Committees of Bihar and Chhattisgarh.

1. For EDUCATION:

• aid in building proper educational infrastructures and training centres.

• education to willing adults. Preserve and promotion of language and literature.
• aid in publishing literary and non-literary works.

• aid in promoting cottage industries, small businesses and Agro based initiatives.
• educate and encourage entrepreneurships and good banking habits.
• improve one’s employability.
• encourage self-employment by forming SHG , Farmers club etc.

3. For EXTRACURRICULARS:

• training institutions for promotion of activities like sports, dancing, singing, typing etc.
• activity centers to encourage participation among children from underprivileged families.

4. For OUR MEMBERS:

• to ensure free flow of information during times of distress.
• organize educational workshops, motivational programs, conferences , meetings etc. for promotion of updated knowledge and to maintain high spirit.
• help to the family members in case of one’s demise.

5. For SOCIETY:

• organize medical camps, blood donation camps, eye check up camps, etc.
• protection of cultural sites.
• hold various cultural and religious gatherings.
• to aid in establishments of infrastructures like orphanages, old-age homes, rehabilitation centers etc.
• approach concerned authorities regarding the solution of problems of the society.
• work with other like minded organizations for wider reach and better results.
