Padma Shri Professor Digambar Hansda, the cultural doyen of Jharkhand passed away on 19.11.2020 (Thursday) at his residence at Karandih. He was 82 years. Professor Hansda received Padma Shri Award for his contribution to Santali Culture and Literature in the year 2018. We join our entire Santal Community in paying our grateful homage to Padmashree Professor Digambar Hansda of Jharkhand Ponot for his Contribution to our society.
